About the Author
Jean Alread was born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in North Alabama. As the daughter of a Methodist minister, she was required to be a leader of the youth fellowship and music in some of the churches her father served as pastor. By the age of fifteen, she became interested in writing. She wrote Christian articles for the church. In addition, she wrote non-religious books, plays, and songs. When she was sixteen her high school English teacher and a professor of journalism at the university read one of her books and plays. They were very impressed with her writing and highly encouraged her to enter the School of Journalism.
After marriage, she studied at the university and pursued another career field.
However, she still longed to write books and plays. Thus, one of her books,
“Supernatural Events of the Past and Present”, is presented to you.
